10 Top Rated Wireless Routers of 2010 – Year-End Best Of List


Wireless router is a nifty little thing many of us use at home (and at work), and seldomly pause to ponder on how amazing the technology behind these fairly inexpensive devices is. PCMag.com reminds us that a wireless router “a router, switch and access point (base station) in one box” and all of these “provide a convenient way to connect a small number of wired and any number of wireless computers to the Internet”.

Today we’ll look at the top 10 wireless routers of 2010 based on an analysis of rankings from CNET and ConsumerSearch.com as well as a look at this year’s best-selling routers around major electronics- and computer-related merchants.
