10-Point Review of Snooze Sleep

We recently heard that the Undercover Billionaire, Matt Smith, developed his own brand, Snooze Sleep, around a revolutionary 4-in-1 mattress, Snooze Flip, and we were curious to see what it has to offer. After all, the man is a celebrity. His stores are writing history in the Colorado sleep market, and he and his pyjama crew are the heart and soul of most sleep industry events. We’ll reveal our findings in the following lines.

1. About Snooze Sleep

Snooze Sleep aims to implement two decades of research and expertise from specialists in sleep medicine, kinesiology, neurology, mattress manufacturing, molecular engineering, etc., and, more importantly, feedback from 20 million sleepers. At the time of this review, their inventory covers seven products, more than enough to properly equip any bedroom and ensure everyone’s restful sleep.  Let’s take them one by one and see what they have to offer.

2. The Snooze Flip Mattress

The brand’s flagship product is a flippable all-foam mattress made in America and backed by a more than generous 365 nights trial. It brings about several interesting innovations that may help answer most sleepers’ needs and preferences.

Customizable 4-in-1 Design

Not only is the mattress itself flippable or double-sided, but each side had a different firmness option, one is soft and the other one is firm. If you don’t know what firmness you need or your preferences change with time, all you have to do is flip the mattress.

The cover is flippable, and double-sided as well. One side is warm and plushy, with deep pockets. The other one regulates body temperature and keeps you cool and comfortable even on the hottest nights. Otherwise put, you have a summer side and a winter side, and the freedom to switch between them as you see fit.

By combining and switching between the different sides, you get 4 comfort options in the same mattress:

• Soft & Cool
• Firm & Warm

Besides the revolutionary 4-in-1 design, the Snooze Flip embeds some new materials and technologies:

• SureAlign™ 2lb density support foam: adding advanced lumbar support to the firm side to keep your spine aligned and prevent back pain.

In times when most brands stick to traditional CertiPur-US foams and latex, it’s encouraging to see that there are still some that go the extra mile to improve comfort and deliver high-quality products.

Leaving aside the smart cover already discussed above, Snooze Flip is made of 4 layers:

The construction looks promising, and the manufacturer seems very confident in the quality and durability of the mattress.

Believe it or not, the Snooze mattress comes with no less than 365 nights trial period. It’s more than many of their competitors offer and in line with the most prominent brands’ trial periods. One year is more than enough for anyone to figure out if a mattress is worth its price. Moreover, with 4 comfort options to choose from, it’s difficult not to find one to your liking.

3. Snooze X Ergo Motion Adjustable Base

Ever since I gave birth, I’m a huge fan of adjustable beds. Due to the huge pregnancy belly and my thyroid issues, I had trouble breathing, and the only way to get some sleep was on my back, with my upper body at a 45-degree angle. Try obtaining that angle and also comfort and cooling with traditional pillows and you’ll see what I mean! After months of torment, I fell in love with the adjustable bed from the hospital. Not only that it solved all my problems, but it also made it so much easier to get out of bed.

All these features come at a cost, though, around $1500 for a queen, even more, if you decide to dress it up with an upholstered or wooden bed frame. If that could place a strain on your budget, it helps to plan ahead, maybe look into buy-now-pay-later solutions, or cut down costs elsewhere. The adjustable bed and the mattress you place on it represent an important investment in your comfort, sleep, health, and well-being. Cutting corners is not a good idea.

4. Snooze Brushed Fiber Sheets

If you like microfiber sheets, you’ll love these brushed fiber sheets. The brushing makes them softer, velvety, and incredibly comfy to sleep on, while still breathable and cooling. I also like the fact that they are friendly to the environment. Most of us probably wouldn’t and shouldn’t sacrifice comfort and well-being just to use recycled materials or stay away from harmful chemicals.  With Snooze brushed fiber sheets, we don’t have to, as they offer all the benefits without any need to compromise.

5. Snooze Premium Smooth Mattress Protector

If you’re going to invest money in a high-quality and comfortable mattress, it’s imperative that you protect your investment. Snooze facilitates that with its premium smooth mattress protector. Made from an impermeable but breathable fabric, it’s dust mite and allergens safe. Although it makes an excellent barrier against stains and liquids, it still feels luxurious. What’s best is that it’s machine washable, and fits even 18” mattresses. 7. Snooze Cloud Pillows

Pillows are just as important as the mattress and bed frame, and only those who never woke up with a stiff neck or aching shoulder don’t know that. Snooze swears they didn’t cut corners on their pillows, and promises that the Cloud offers a Dynamic Response to your body curves, supporting your head, neck, and spine during sleep. It’s supposed to reduce snoring, stress, aches, and pains, while also keeping you dry and cool with their ICE Fabric with cooling fibers woven into it.

8. Snooze Polar Pillow

And just when you think it can’t get better than that, they add some more cooling and comfort! The Snooze Pollar pillows feature HeiQ Adaptive performance fabric treated to wick away moisture and transfer heat away from your body. They use gel-infused memory foam for added comfort and cooling, and special neck and shoulder cutouts to adjust to your body contours and support the natural lines of your spine, neck, and head.

9. Snooze Mattress Stores

One thing you surely didn’t know is that Snooze Sleep products can be tested in person and bought at Snooze Mattress stores. The company is rapidly expanding across the U.S., so we don’t have a list of all their locations, but it’s often useful to see and feel products hands-on before buying them, especially when they have such a huge impact on your health and well-being. That being said, placing the order online should give you access to better prices and more payment options, including financing.

10. The Bottom Line about Snooze Sleep

There are tens, if not hundreds of similar brands out there, so it’s impossible to say without a doubt that Snooze is the best. They have their strengths, like the complex offer bound to cover all bedding needs, American manufacturing, innovative materials and technologies, advanced features, and extensive trial periods and warranties, but all of these come at a cost, that may be a challenge to sum. Personally, I think we’re too poor to buy cheap beds and bedding and sacrifice what we need the most – our sleep and well-being. What do you think?
