Have you ever wondered what are the world’s most safest (and really best) countries to live in? I most certainly have… and more than once.

As the year 2010 is coming to an end, we have carefully studied the 2010 country rankings by Newsweek, International Living‘s Quality of Life Index rating, and Global Peace Index (GPI) 2010 list, and came up with our own ranking of the the top 10 countries to live or retire in:

1. Switzerland
2. Australia
3. France
4. New Zealand
5. Germany
6. Finland
7. Sweden
8. Norway
9. Luxembourg
10. Canada
